How this compares

The category splits into three bands. Almost nobody publishes a price.

Here is where each band sits and where we sit in it. Figures marked published come from a vendor's own rate card; the rest are third-party analyses, because the vendor does not publish anything.

BandWhat you payWhat that actually gets you
Enterprise voice platforms
mostly UK and EU headquartered
Quote only. Third-party analyses put entry contracts at six figures a year, with per-minute charges on top.A managed deployment and a named team. Typically six to twelve weeks to first call, with an implementation fee before that.
Developer voice APIsPublished — around $0.05–$0.31 per minute, plus a platform fee of up to $299/month on some plans.Raw building blocks. You write the agent, wire the telephony, build the CRM sync and build your own testing. There is no rehearsal equivalent.
AI receptionist appsPublished — roughly $25–$500 per month, depending on included minutes. One number, one script, a calendar. Fine for a sole trader. No outbound, no qualification, no reporting.

£99–£229 per month, plus per-call usage. Published here, no call required.Inbound and outbound, up to 10 versioned agents, a rehearsal allowance on every plan, CRM and telephony connectors, console seats and a signed audit trail per call.

Ranges reflect 2026 published rate cards or third-party pricing analyses where nothing is published. They move — treat them as indicative. Nobody in this category, ourselves included, can quote a like-for-like figure without knowing your call minutes, which is why the estimator below exists.

Why we publish a price when our enterprise competitors do not. You should be able to estimate your own bill in ten minutes, without sitting through a discovery call first. That is also why the estimator below shows its working instead of a single number.

Move the numbers. Watch the invoice.

Real arithmetic, not a lead-capture form. Adjust call volume, average length and region, and compare the result against what the same minutes would cost a human team.

Launch is not modelled here because it caps at 200 calls. Everything is calculated in your browser; nothing is submitted anywhere.

What is not billed

Five things other vendors meter that we do not.

01

Rehearsal simulations

Every synthetic caller, every adversarial persona, every regression run on a publish. Failure is the cheapest thing you can buy, so we do not charge for it.

02

Storage & transcripts

Recordings, transcripts, audit logs and analytics retention are included within the plan's stated window. No surprise egress bill at quarter end.

03

Support & onboarding

Email on Launch, priority on Scale, a named architect on Sovereign. Implementation guidance during the four-week rollout is never a separate line item.

04

Failed & unanswered calls

If a call does not connect, or the caller hangs up before the agent speaks, you are not billed. We charge for conversations, not for attempts.

05

Seats & console users

Readers, QA reviewers and analysts do not need a licence. Adding the compliance team to the console does not change your invoice.

Rollover

Unused volume carries

Any unused committed minutes roll into the following month once. We would rather you consumed them than watched them evaporate.

Procurement & security

Built to survive your legal and security review.

Most of our enterprise deals spend more time in procurement than in implementation. So we front-load the paperwork: the documents your reviewers ask for are already written, already current, and available on request.

FAQ

Eight questions we actually get asked.

What exactly counts as a billed call?
A call connects and the agent speaks at least one turn. If the line never connects, the caller hangs up before the greeting, or the call fails on the carrier side, it is not billed. We also do not bill the transfer leg once a human takes over — that call is finished from our side.
Why is there no per-seat price?
Because seats do not cost us money and charging for them punishes you for giving your compliance team visibility. You pay for connected conversations, and you can add as many read-only, QA or analyst users as your plan allows without touching the invoice.
What happens if I exceed my committed volume?
Nothing dramatic. Overage bills at your plan's standard per-minute rate for that month, with no penalty multiplier. If you are trending over for two months running, your account team will propose a higher commitment at a better rate rather than letting overage quietly compound.
How do carrier minutes work?
We pass them through at cost with no markup, itemised separately on the invoice so your finance team can see exactly what the carrier charged. You can also bring your own telephony contract entirely, in which case carrier cost disappears from our invoice and stays on yours.
Is the rehearsal really free, or is it metered?
Yes. Rehearsal runs are included up to your plan's simulation allowance, and we have never charged overage on them. If you exceed the allowance we tell you, throttle politely, and suggest the volume change that would raise the ceiling.
Can I run a pilot without a procurement cycle?
That is what Launch is for. Two hundred connected calls, real agents, full rehearsal access, no card and no contract. Many of our enterprise customers start there, prove the outcome internally, and then use their own numbers to justify the Scale or Sovereign purchase.
What are the payment terms for larger deals?
Monthly in arrears by default for self-serve, or annual with net-30 invoicing for contracted agreements. We support purchase orders, consolidated billing across entities, and invoicing in the currency your finance team actually closes the books in.
Can we exit and take our data?
Always. Recordings, transcripts, structured outcomes and audit logs export in full through the API or as a bulk archive on request. There is no exit fee, and your data is deleted from production within 30 days of the request, subject only to the retention your own policy requires.
